Facade advertising: long-term visibility on buildings
Facade advertising is a banner on a building’s facade or gable wall. The space is not tied to building works, so it can be booked for months at a time and build awareness through repetition. That makes the facade the steady format in outdoor advertising: the same message, in the same place, day after day.
A gable is the building’s blank end wall and is seen from a distance, often from moving traffic, so it suits one big, simple message. A facade faces the street and is seen up close by pedestrians, so the message can carry a little more.
Our facade banners range from 21–82 m², in Copenhagen and Aarhus. We handle print, installation and removal, and there is no municipal application for you.
Questions about facade advertising
How much does facade advertising cost?
The price depends on the site, the traffic, the period and production. Facades are usually sold for longer periods, and the weekly price falls the longer you book. You get one quote including print and installation.
Do I need a permit for facade advertising?
No. Our facades are ready to use, so there is no municipal application or fee for you. Only scaffolding advertising needs a municipal permit.
What is the difference between a facade and a gable?
A gable is seen from a distance and from traffic, and works best for one short message. A facade is seen up close by pedestrians and can carry a little more content.
How long does a facade banner stay up?
Usually for several months. Many of our facades are available on an ongoing basis, and the period is agreed in the quote.
Where do you have facade sites?
In Copenhagen, including Strøget at Frederiksborggade, and in Aarhus.
